It's all here - If you were a Butte native or a visitor fortunate
enough to have been to the gardens while it was
in operation
this book will bring back fond memories of those magical days
and nights you enjoyed and probably lived for! If
you never had
the opportunity you will see not only what you missed out on, you
will also learn to understand the joy and passion
felt by those who
did come here to this magical and beautiful place!
The author of this book,
the late Pat Kearney, was a Butte sportscaster, newscaster, sportswriter, author and dedicated Butte historian, yet so
many
willing participants made valuable contributions to the memories Pat put together to create this great memento covering the whole history
of the old Columbia Gardens from 1899 - 1973.
Some
of the contributors are mentioned here on this page with the
pictures and all are mentioned in this memory filled wonderful book .
OK enough
introduction - lets look at these pictures - they say it all!

Ok - you get the idea - we can't show you all the pictures in the book on this web page because the book is 138 pages full of pictures
and history about the Columbia Gardens and frankly came out better and look much better in the book than here as they have been modified
from the originals in the book to fit on line. Viewing the entire web site will work much better on high speed than dial - up of course
and designed for laptops with 1280 pixel width for Firefox
and Google Chrome browsers. You can still see it on desk tops
and AOL browsers but you might have to move the scroll bars a bit. The book is available at:
The Spirit of Columbia Gardens Gift Shop
in the Butte Plaza Mall, Butte, MT. Just stop in or write to order your copy at:
